Course Schedule
Month 1: STEAM Foundations, Engineering Thinking, and AI Literacy
Week 1 — STEAM and Engineering Foundations
- Students explore how science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics work together to solve real-world problems.
Week 2 — Critical Thinking, Teamwork, and Problem-Solving
- Students learn how to define challenges, organize ideas, collaborate, and evaluate possible solutions.
Week 3 — Understanding Artificial Intelligence
- Students explore what AI is, what it can and cannot do, how it generates responses, and why human judgment remains essential.
Week 4 — Research, Verification, Privacy, and Responsible AI Use
- Students learn how to ask effective questions, verify information, evaluate sources, protect personal data, and avoid plagiarism or overdependence on AI.
Month 2: Programming, Technology, and AI-Assisted Creation
Week 5 — Programming and Computational Thinking
- Students develop logical thinking by breaking problems into steps, recognizing patterns, and building basic technology solutions.
Week 6 — Using AI to Learn, Code, and Improve Ideas
- Students learn how AI can support explanations, programming, debugging, brainstorming, and project development while ensuring they understand and control the final work.
Week 7 — Renewable Energy and Model Building
- Students apply STEAM concepts to sustainability challenges, physical models, and practical engineering activities.
Week 8 — Design, Prototyping, and AI-Supported Research
- Students use research, design thinking, digital tools, and AI-assisted analysis to develop and improve an original solution.
Month 3: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Final Project
Week 9 — Identifying Problems and Opportunities
- Students identify a real-world need, understand the people affected by it, and define a meaningful challenge.
Week 10 — Solution Design, Product Development, and Testing
- Students design, build, test, evaluate, and improve a product, model, service, or proposed solution.
Week 11 — Using AI to Analyze, Refine, and Communicate
- Students learn how AI can help organize feedback, compare alternatives, strengthen presentations, and improve communication without replacing their own decisions.
Week 12 — Final Presentation, Feedback, and Reflection
- Students present their work, explain their process, receive feedback, and reflect on the STEAM, entrepreneurship, and AI skills they developed.
